Mock Chicken Liver Pate

Mock Chicken Liver Pate

Mock Chicken Liver Pate … our family favorite worth remembering!

Such a delicious appetizer/starter with lots of options for ingredients. Our family recipe traditionally uses canned sweet peas, chopped walnuts and grilled onions.

Many of my friends have different ideas on its preparation; Mushrooms, Onions and Walnuts or even Green beans, Onions and Walnuts. I have made them all…second favorite is using Mushrooms.

Recipe Notes

Melissa's Modifications:

This is a delicious recipe that can be served with any veggies as a dip, Mary's Gone Crackers(my favorite), matzo, or any cracker for that matter. I have even used it as a spread on a sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Give that a try with the leftovers (if there are any) the next day on two slices of thin Dave's Killer Bread, 21 whole grains with seeds. Very yummy!
