About Dr. David Bernstein’s Private Practice

David Bernstein, M.D. is a highly respected physician who is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics practicing in Clearwater, Florida. In practice since 1982, his years of experience have provided him with opportunities to observe, empathize and guide thousands of adults and generations of families.

Dr. Bernstein has evolved, and over the years has adopted the new and exciting medical technologies of the 21st century. He has remained true to the practice of medicine that he learned long ago. He continues to have a busy clinical practice and is committed to treating his patients in the hospital, nursing home, and rehab facilities. Dr. Bernstein believes maintaining continuity of care has become a lost art within the practice of medicine. In spite of the challenging, ever-changing landscape of medicine, he is thrilled to continue to have the skill, knowledge and stamina to treat patients as he did 35 years ago. He strongly believes in the Power of 5 as we all work to AGE GRACEFULLY®.

Thank you for being my (and my husband’s) primary doctor. I want you to know I feel blessed, and I appreciate your knowledge and compassion as a doctor… -J.M.

On behalf of our family, I want to thank you for the wonderful care you gave our parents; they expressed total confidence in your judgment when it came to their health and listened to you (for the most part). We especially appreciated your guidance during her final illness. -J.H.

“I want you to know how grateful I am for keeping my husband as well and happy as he was for so long. I know he wasn’t your easiest patient at all times, but you did such a wonderful job in knowing how to handle him and make him feel comfortable with uncomfortable aliments and conditions. He knew this too, and I want you to know how appreciative he was for all of your help … his life was certainly enriched by your compassionate care and expert physician abilities. -B.W.
